The roots of the company dates back to the return of democracy and beginning of free market economy in Poland when some managers from big state owned shipyards established private enterprise Marine Projects Ltd.

Their first activity was working out the technical and engineering documentation for shipbuilding industry in Poland and abroad. Then it has been launched production department. At the beginning the company hired areas and docks in various shipyards for each project separately and acquisition of own production facility was a basic startegic goal. The efforts brought effects and the plot on Ostrów Island have been acquired as well as the former Conrad Shipyard on the Vistula River bank

During several years of fruitful activity , Marine Projects has been developing and expanding its scope of production from oil-barges, pontoons, ship’s hulls, fully outfitted ships’ funnels, hull sections of weight 50 – 300 t up to ca. 1.000 t outfitted blocks and turn-key vessels up to 90 m length.
